With the success that the young driver has had at these tracks before, he is focused on repeating that same success this weekend.

“It would mean so much to bring home a win from Five Flags,” added Pope.  “You know how big of a deal it is just by looking at all the names that have won and raced there. Mobile would be icing on the cake, more than anything it would build the confidence of everyone on the team.”

“The last two weeks I have been working on the cars at the shop during the week but on the weekends I have been helping out John Bolen with some of his races down in Florida.  We also had a little fun as well, this past weekend John and I raced open wheeled modifieds at Sayre Speedway. Those things are a lot of fun and were a blast to race in.

“That was fun, but I am really excited to go back down to Five Flags with the Super Late Model this weekend. The last race there I finished 7th but after the race we found the left rear shock was broken, so we know that we have what it takes to finish up front.”

Pope looks to have success this weekend at Five Flags and Mobile Speedway.
Michael Pope Ready For Double Header Action
Young Racer Ready to Build on Experience

Michael Pope has had a couple of weeks off from the Super Late Model racing circuit, but now the young driver is ready to get back to business this weekend with some racing action.  In fact it will be a weekend full of action for young Pope as he gears up for a double-header event at Five Flags Speedway with the Blizzard Series on Friday night and he will then follow that up with a Saturday event at Mobile International Speedway.
